Week 28 in Tampa

Elder Hale, Joel and Elder Christensen

We've been having a very good week. TONS of miracles. We've had the investigators we've been helping prepare for baptism. One of them, her name is Pat, is hilarious. When we asked her to pray to know if these things are true she said "honey I already know these things are true!". In her very southern accent. She is already planning her baptism. It's a huge miracle. I hope she can continue to progress. We had another man who is also preparing for baptism named Joel. He made it to church for the first time today! Him and Dennis have been getting along really well and hopefully will left each other up as they wait for when they can be baptized. The oldest daughter of the Delores Newsome is still loving the gospel. She's been reading and asked her boss for work off on Sunday's. The spirit is always super strong in her lessons. We've brought President Patrick with us to our lessons with her. He's a former mission president so he's super spiritual. I may have mentioned that last week haha. But yes TONS of other crazy miracles! One other one was when we were biking and came across a former of ours. He had requested a Bible and Book of Mormon but didn't show any interest other then that. We dropped them off but then never were able to have a solid lesson with him and his family. He flagged us down on our bikes and requested we say a prayer with him and start teaching him and his family. He had just lost his job that day so it was crazy the Lord had put us in his path at that opportune time. I hope we can help him and his family during this trial. So yes TONS of miracles. There's always more then I can list every week haha. This area is definitely being blessed. (Oh also we are teaching a man who is an older version of Parker Appah. It's scary...haha). Hope things are going well!!! Love you!!!

Week 27 in Tampa

 Sunrise yesterday morning

Zone Training after interviews with President Cooper
Ballast point

On Wednesday we went to Ballast point after we picked up some chick-fil-a. It was awesome! There were some huge airplanes flying over since the base is right there. We were there just for lunch. It was a good day.
We've had tons of miracles. One amazing one was with the oldest daughter of Delores. She was interested before but is just now showing interest and we had a very good first lesson with her and the young men's President, President Patrick. She's hoping to come to church so she can prepare for baptism. President Patrick just got back when I get here. He was a mission president in Canada. So of course the spirit was super strong during that lesson. It was a huge blessing and miracle!!! I love serving!!! How are things going today??
Love you!

Week 26 in Tampa

 Picnic Island pictures
The sisters from our ward were also there

Elder Gallagher and Elder Parks are also in the pictures.

One of our bishopric members grandkids was baptized this last weekend. We got to meet with
him and answer some questions before his baptism. After the baptism
there was a party on Picnic Island. First time I've seen the beach. It
was awesome! We met some random members from Seattle there. Crazy how
there are members everywhere. We have been having much success. The
Newsome/Howard family is doing really well. The oldest one is
preparing to get the priesthood in the next couple weeks. Dennis and
Sarah are both doing really good. We've been working with a man named
Joel who's getting very close to baptism. He is awesome. He's been
sharing the gospel with his friends and now one of them is taking the
discussions with the Spanish missionaries. Crazy! It's been a lot of
fun these past couples weeks. It's been good sharing an apartment with
the other elders. I'm loving the serving and love all the people I get
to meet! Time is flying by. Also I do get home in July. No idea what
Elder Ellsworth was talking about haha. Things are going good. The drs
appointment went well. One follow up appointment for my ECHO and then
I need to meet with an eye doctor I believe. Not sure I can ask when I
go back in 2 weeks. Glad things are going well. Busy day today so
sorry if I don't respond much! I have another flat and elder
Christensen injured his knee so this will be an interesting week. Hope
things are going well today!!

Love you!
