First Week in the MTC

Things have been great! Elder Wadsworth and I don't start our duties as zone leaders until this Sunday. Our Branch President is President Briscoe. He has such an amazing testimony of Christ. My companion like i said in my first email is AWEEESOMEEEE. We just seem to click and all of our lessons have gone really smoothly. We've started TRC's this week which is where we teach investigators. We don't know if they're real or fake. One of them who's name is Jameson is wanting to learn how to have a stronger relationship with Christ. We taught him about the restoration yesterday and gave him a challenge to read 3 nephi 11. He's followed our other invitation to pray out loud so I think he's going to follow our challenge and read the book of mormon and also pray about it. Our other investigator is rough. His name is Parker and he's going to BYU. He wants to understand why people use the spirit to guide their decisions. It's hard to teach him because he isn't willing to pray and hasn't opened his heart to feel of that spirit. We teach him again tonight so we're hoping we can get him to pray tonight. My teachers are brother Pemberton and Sister Stevenson. They're both RM's and have amazing testimonies of Christ. They've taught us about our purpose, how to become better teachers/missionaries, how to role play, and then also how to strengthen our testimony of Christ. This last Sunday devotional we had the Nashville Tribute band sing/teach us. Definitely one of the most spiritual experiences I've been a part of. Also during our tuesday devotional we had Elder Condie of the seventy speak to us. It was hilarious yet very spiritual at the same time. He did a killer president Hinkley impersonation.
We just got back from going to the temple as a district. I love the spirit there. My district is awesome! We have 12 people so 6 companionships. The two sets of sisters are going to the Florida, Tallahasee mission. The 4 sets of elders are all going to Tampa. I think there's about 26 elders/sisters heading to Tampa the same time we do. There are currently about 2,500 missionaries in the MTC so it's crazy. I've talked to Daniel and I see Allen every day. He told me they're having him leave next Tuesday. Also I saw the Neuffers at the airport when I got off my plane. It was crazy seeing them!
This whole experience has been amazing and has greatly strengthen my testimony in Christ.
I love all you guys!!! Hope to hear from you again soon
